So i bought my truck with retros which I dont know much about. Anyways a bulb went out so I got new ones. Tried connecting it and it wont light up? I tested the ballast and igniter and new bulbs on the working side and all 3 things work. Just not on the passenger side. Any tips on the next thing to test or do because I'm stuck I dont want to mess anything up and have to buy more parts than needed. Thanks in advance.

Swap ballast. See if that work then report back.

*** after reading your post again. It sound like you moved the ballast, bulb and igniter from the non working passenger side to the driver side. This happen to me before and it was the controller that was bad. It’s a $35 dollar part you can get from Amazon.

    Have you checked the fuse(s)
There is one for each side (Right and Left / High and Low)

So I checked the fuses they are good. Checked for any disconnected wires or frayed wires that could cause a short and didnt see any. I'm stumped. Unless like @Asianguywithatruk said the controller is messed up and causing only one side to go out
