I just moved up to Boston a couple months ago. Maybe I’m nuts but I feel like a hell of a lot more people here drive around with their high beams on all the time! Seems like every day I get three or four just in the few miles between my house and the interstate, and they don’t ever turn them off when I flash at them.

Anyone else notice this about Boston drivers??

No, it's the new LED headlights. GMC trucks seem to be the worse. It amazes me how little difference there is between their dims and brights. They are both retina piercing bright!

Not only Boston. It happens all the time in NY(C) as well. Believe or not, some people I came across, don't know how to turn them off, some think that it is supposed to be like that because "it's automatic", and some just don't care...

I don't think there is a difference between the high and low beams. It's just a mechanical shutter that provides a cut-off when on "low" beam and when the headlights are adjusted improperly, loaded heavy in the trunk, etc, it looks like their high beams are on.

My housemate got a 2020 TRD Pro with the LED lights and I flashed him a few times not knowing it was him and he said so many people do it to him...

I can tell high beams vs bright low beams ... people are just jerks! Just a weird thing I noticed around here - markedly more common than back home

I think it's mainly because pup LED bulbs in a non projector housing and on top of that , they dont adjust their lights downward

    Yes.

I'm convinced it's people who don't understand how their vehicle works anymore. I'm baffled when I see it during the daytime. It has nothing to do with LED lamps, or aim or whatever, just the simple cluelessness of people.

Put a LED bar on your truck and send them a friendly nudge if they don't turn theirs off :D

I notice it a lot from city people when they come out here. They drive in areas where there are street lights and more traffic where it doesn't make as much of a difference. Thankfully I've got plenty of lumens as medicine to correct their ailment.

I have had the issue of other drivers flashing their lights at me when I have a load in the bed or the hitch bike rack on. Even the fiberglass topper weighs enough to change the angle for other drivers. A leveling kit/air bags seem to have helped.
