I like that a lot, but I didn't like the price tag when I added all the options to it :spending:

I need to take some before and after measurements. I have the same setup but when FEDEX Freight forklifted the pallet with the HC bumper and sliders I feel (un-scientifically) that the rear dropped roughly 1-1.5 inches. I will take some measurements tonight and after the install and post the results once I have the bumper installed.

on a side note, is anyone mounting a propane tank to the swing out arm? I am proactively looking for ideas.

Anyone with a C4 HC rear find a water jug that wits with the gas can holder? The Midwest gas cans fit, but I can’t find any sort of water can that will fit.

I just received my Wavian/NATO (https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.c...0lt-red-jerry-can-with-spout-and-adapter.html) gas cans (red for fuel, black for water) and was stoked to get them in the C4 jerry can holder. Of course, I found out that they are too big for the hinged cage.

I set up some clamps on the cage and bent the first angle out to fit the can spouts and then bent the two arms with buckles back down toward the latch receivers. Of course, they are now too far away to latch. For now I can latch the buckles in the open position and that keeps the cans tightly in place (a little 1/8" foam strip to protect from rubbing against the can makes it even tighter). I bought some vinyl coated steel cable and looped it through the lock points on the buckles and crimped loops on the cable ends - the cable runs through the cage and then through the handles of the cans themselves. Locked up tight.

I'd post pics, but my truck is at the shop getting 4.88's installed while we're on vacation next week. I'll post some when I get back if anyone wants to see how I "solved" the issue.

Modified mine to fit. Not the best solution. But it stays in there. Gonna have to work until I get a different can holder. Probably get a cbi one.

Nice. Does it rattle open when wheeling?
This is what I did. I just cut it. I plan on getting a CBI holder someday soon.

No, the tension on the latches are really tight - no rattles on the cage, I looped some carabiners on the cable to be able to latch the lock down to minimize any clanking or rattling while I'm bouncing around.

Does anyone have the high clearance bumper with dual swing outs? I'm curious if you can swing and lock them out past 90 degrees?

What ever one you go with, be prepared to wait a long ass time and add +200 for shipping. Also looking back I wish I would not have requested powder coating because this was an extra 200 bucks. I have never had any problems with auto primmer spray can followed by gloss or flat black on my fabricated raw metal parts. Also for off road use that shit will get scraped up anyways so...

As far as pricing goes for these raw bummers and sliders go, it's actually not too bad considering the cost of steel and fab work. I can tell you building that rear bumper would take $200+ in just raw metal plus all the annoying bends and welds you would need to make for that polygon structure.

Once my 2" bender die comes in I'm going to make sliders. Not to save on the price of the sliders, just so I don't have to wait a million years for them to ship it lol.
