Overland Tailor Tuning continues to amaze! Demonstrating their mastery over Toyota forced induction, they have been able to top 400 HP on the 3.5L 3rd Gen Tacoma. These guys are incredible tuning experts, and in addition to creating impressive numbers, they also ensure that every tune distributed to customers is safe for the longevity of the truck. We're not in the business of making unsubstantiated claims for the sake of making a sale or pushing trucks to the point of causing damage for the sake of getting good numbers.

Overland Tailor tune development is driven by a passion for being the best, and being able to prove that we're the best. Best customer support, best tuning network coverage, along with being the best performing tune; both through customer experience and through empirically proven data.

Here is the dyno sheet for our supercharger calibrations with a 90mm pulley (green), 87mm pulley (red), and 84mm pulley (blue):

The Overland Torque Tune has undergone extensive testing and data logging. The tune for each model that OTT supports is refined on a Dyno to ensure that we are getting the best performance to accompany real world driveability. We don't rely on just the "butt Dyno" to validate the tune. OTT is the only Toyota tuning calibration that has a complete catalog of replicable Dyno data available to the public.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help!

Always nice to meet a Toyota family. This owner still had the temp plates on his new Tacoma, and was so underwhelmed with the performance that he decided to go with the Overland Torque Tune just a few weeks after buying it.

That being said, he was even more impressed with the OTT calibration on his 4Runner. He had a Pedal Commander installed previously. So was used to some aggressive throttle settings, but OTT is much smoother, and adds actual Horsepower and Torque to the powerband, unlike the PC.

    New price list!!!

In a world of ever-increasing costs, High Country Tuning is happy to announce that we have reduced some of our prices!
The backend costs for tuning certain vehicles have gone down, and we're passing those savings on to you!

Toyotas and Tunes this Sunday, March 26 from 10am - 2pm in Grand Junction!

Thanks to for hosting what we hope will turn into a regular meet up "geared" towards Western Slope Toyota enthusiasts and off roaders. So stop by with your rig, talk shop, share war stories, make trail ride plans, show off your modifications/accessories, and chat with Alcan Spring or High Country Tuning about what we can do to improve your Toyota!

We'd also love to hear your thoughts on how we can make this a fun, regular meet up to serve local owners and enthusiasts. Link to event on Facebook: OTT Tune Event - 03.26.23.jpg

The tune event with Alcan Springs is coming together nicely! I'm hopeful that there will be a good turnout; I always love seeing other people's builds. I'm looking forward to chatting with folks to see if we can turn this into a regular thing. There are plenty of Toyotas and off roaders on the Western Slope, but not much in the way of groups/gatherings.

If you're interested in a tune, or have an idea for the event, hit me up. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will get priority.

    Link to this weekend's gathering:

Another fantastic day in Grand Junction at Alcan Spring this past weekend! Even though it was cold, and we even got some snow blowing in off of the Monument; we had a great turnout. Lots of war stories to share, and I got to see quite a few very excited owners try out the Overland Tailor Torque (OTT) tune. The owner of Alcan Spring and I would love to see this grow into a regular meet up. There's plenty of space for parking, there's a great view of the Monument across the way, and we could even start getting a food truck or something. Maybe we'll be able to plan a trail ride next time. Or, at the very least, we could make plans for the Rock Junction event coming up in June.

I was so busy chatting with owners and tuning trucks, that I didn't get many pictures with people. Staying true to form, though, I did get lots of pictures of the trucks that stopped by.

I had a great time chatting with this owner, and she was absolutely blown away by the tune. It makes the job a lot more fun when you get this kind of reaction:

Love installing custom tunes! This beast of a truck (37" tires, 5:29 gears, Injen intake, Carven exhaust) had a tune placed on it previously that seriously compromised the truck's performance and driveability. NOT ALL TUNES ARE CREATED EQUAL!

We hooked the truck up for some data logging to see what the problem was, and after a few short minutes of driving, logging data, analyzing the problem, and making adjustments; this happy owner finally has a fully functional truck again! Not only that, but the truck now has some incredible power and low-end torque. The 5.7L Tundras are absolute monsters once you wake them up with a tune!

WAKE UP! The Overland Tailor Torque (OTT) tune breathed new life into this 2011 4Runner yesterday. The owner was so excited about the improved throttle response and the additional torque and HP that we saw his Pedal Commander posted for sale only an hour later 1f602_6ed81c787e5f9575884bc3b202f5a2394fb6f3ce.png!

I got the OTT for my 2016 Taco this weekend from Luke and it is such a huge improvement! I live in the mountains and have adapted to the shifting and transmission quirks of my truck since I got it new, so the difference was immediately noticeable driving around after. I have about a 1000ft elevation gain in a mile and half to my house from town and the Taco always had gear hunting issues, hesitation, almost stalling and then dropping hard into gear on my way home. This is completely gone now.

The biggest difference I noticed was this morning driving to work on the hill between Silverthorne and Frisco on 70. Before, even with ECT button on and set at S4 it would constantly gear hunt and jump between RPMs. Today in D it stayed in gear and held the RPMs up the entire hill, and properly downshifted when I reached the top. So stoked about that, it makes the truck much more enjoyable to drive now.

Getting this done hadn't been much of a priority, but I wish I would've done it much sooner. Drives like it should've from the factory now!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, our trucks definitely suffer from high elevation coupled with fast highway speeds in CO, but OTT helps a ton. I feel like driving before OTT was a chore. I was always thinking about what the truck was doing. Now, it's fun! I can just kick back and enjoy the drive.

It was a pleasure meeting you. Enjoy the "new" truck!

Grand Junction Toyotas and Tunes event! will be joining to host a Toyota Meet and Greet on Saturday, May 13 from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Stop by to talk shop, share stories, show off your rig, get inspired by other builds, or get tuned by High Country Tuning!

We're hoping that this becomes a regular event to help build the Toyota community on the Western Slope. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions! Once we start getting a few more folks, we can start planning more activities like trail rides, include more vendors, get food trucks, etc.

I forgot to get a picture of this truck while it was parked, but just look at that smile!

The owner is running 35s, and was looking to regear, but after the tune, he's planning to put that money towards some other fun gear!
