Since I love the tune on my Tacoma so much, thinking about doing it for my 2021 4runner... haven't read much about it for the 4runner since it's stock and gonna stay in stock form for awhile, is it an improvement based on feedback you've seen?

 

Sorry for the late response. The 4Runner tune is solid. We get some excellent performance improvements, and like the Tacoma tune, people also really enjoy the reduced gear hunting and enhanced throttle. I do think that 4Runners perform better from the factory compared to 3rd Gen Tacomas, but there are still a lot of nice improvements that we can achieve via tuning.

Red is the stock tune and blue is with OTT. As you can see, that's a pretty nice bump in performance throughout the RPM band.

 

High Country Tuning is coming back to Grand Junction this Saturday, March 23!

 

Let me know next time you are heading to Summit or even Glenwood, I'd drive over there. Definitely want to do it to the 4runner as well.

We are headed to Grand Junction this weekend to tune some trucks! We will be driving the I-70 corridor and can schedule tunes in Silverthorne, Vail, Eagle, and Glenwood Springs during the drive there (Saturday) and back (Sunday).

 

Headed back to Durango! The schedule is already surprisingly full, but I'm happy to stick around as long as I need to to get everyone taken care of.

 

On June 24th 2024, Overland Tailor Tuning (OTT) received its CARB Executive Order #D-883 for its 3rd Generation Tacoma 3.5L 2GR-FKS calibrations. This is currently the only naturally aspirated 3rd Generation Tacoma Calibration to receive its Executive Order.

OTT continues to raise the bar, and with decades of tuning experience, has proven that you can safely create a performance calibration while maintaining factory emissions standards.

The 3rd Generation Tacoma 3.5L 2GR-FKS calibrations were previously certified for 49 State EPA compliance, and with the addition of the CARB Executive Order, now adds California and any state following CARB guidelines.

 

We are headed to Grand Junction Friday, July 26 to tune vehicles and get some new suspension from Alcan Spring Inc.! We will be driving the I-70 corridor and can schedule tunes in Silverthorne, Vail, Eagle, and Glenwood Springs during the drive there (Thursday) and back (Friday).

We will be at Alcan Spring from 8am - 3pm on Friday, July 26. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will get priority.
