We drove up the price. They didn't know it would work so well for our vehicles.

As far as I know, the Amazon ones shipped from China as well. I wouldn't worry about it @Laxtoy. I haven't heard of anyone having shipping issues

Bitt the bullet and bought the eBay one. I am too anxious to let it go any longer, been wanting a snorkel for about 6 years after the first time I clogged an air filter and fouled my maf sensor

Hey man, I feel like the center point on the template is not matching up with the center point I see when I just hold the snorkel against the truck. That gonna matter much if I have to trim the hole?

The center point for the snorkel intake on the template (not for the studs) doesn't seem to line up with where I eyeball the middle being. It's like a half inch or more off it looks, so I'm scared to drill it. haha

I have that problem too sometimes with cuts and stuff in carpentry even though I checked and they are square.

It's probably your mind playing games with you honestly.

I trimmed with mine as all I had to cut with was a 4.5 grinder lol. Better to have a hole saw.

i made a template just from shoving a piece of paper over the studs as well, just to compare, and it also looks like the center point is a little off compared to the template it came with

It might be. If there's one thing that is kind of a fail with this kit.....it would be the instructions.

Why don't you just measure it and see if it is indeed off?

Cause its hard to measure where the center is on fender part since it's an odd shape. I'm working on it.

Yeah I am. I meant the piece that goes through the fender.

I know. I'm just saying it makes it hard to measure where the center point is on it to compare.
