    Tonight a deer ran out in front of me. Doing 45-50. Smack in the grill. Cosmetic damage. Also leaking coolant. Not a good sign.

    Disappointing, yes . . . but no one was hurt. That is really good news. Trucks can be replaced or repaired . . . people, not so easily.

    Good thing your ok! I'm always nervous with late night/back roads driving, almost hit one last week doing about 45. but hey, now i know how well the brakes work. truck stops a lot better than my 2000 chevy. you should throw up a few picks :D

    That sucks, but like you say...good thing no one was hurt (except the deer).

    I nailed a deer in my old dodge once, at dusk (the witchy hour). I try to avoid driving at dusk or dawn when deer around here are on the move.

    Moose are huge compared to a deer. Still my damage is significant. Waiting on adjuster to tell the extent.

    Got the appraisal from the insurance co. Almost $7,000. I didn't know venison on the grill could be so costly.
