Dang. Maybe think about a future group buy. This does look nice and im sure its better quality, but I can get a hitch safe on Amazon for under $50

Actually this would be perfect if Recessed maybe 3/8's...then we just use a normal nondescript Reese, toyota, jeep ect rubber insert. Now THAT is covert.....:)

    P.s. build looks great.

Those prices are also CAD. When I did my order (it was @ the 106 time, my card charged me $81.21 + $2.44 foreign transaction fee. Just putting this out there for anyone in the US who is considering one.

I had similar feelings to you, until I realized there would be an exchange rate. It is more than others that I have seen, but not double anymore. And I think it looks cleaner and seems like it will be more secure.

Yeah the shipping that I have to pay to the US is $26. So take that into account as well.

Also, just the retail price on the pin in Canada is $39. If any of you guys are interested in just the vault, I can give you 15 percent off but no free shipping unless the order is over $100. Or Buy 2 Vaults lol

I just ordered and it was $76.29 USD. My card doesn't charge a transaction fee.

I think this looks like a high quality product and the combo pin will be useful in securing my trailer as well.

    That looks great.

Are you also working on a flush 3rd Gen model or one that's just under flush so a end cap could be put on?

Here's an idea that doesn't require reworking the current design... Perhaps @Edmontontaco could work on (or with someone else) to make a "cover" that works with the current design. It doesn't have to be complicated, just "looks like" one of the many hitch plugs, which naturally stick out and exceed the surrounding area.

    Honest opinions:
    1. Looks solid and well made, I would buy it (see point 3)
    2. I agree with ditching the logo
    3. Cost is too high. I really liked it and went straight to your website to see about purchase. But honestly, there are too many other alternatives that are less than $100.

Good luck with the new company.

Hey! Yes, it is in the works. Don’t have an eta yet but will keep you guys posted. I’m thinking I’ll do a run of 50 3rd Gen specific ones.

Eventually I’m going to have custom end caps and have vaults in custom colours. So imagine a guy who rides Polaris sleds. I can do a red vault with the Polaris logo on the end cap. No one would think anything of it. As of right now the company logo with the black looks great in person and is very discreet.

For the custom stuff it would cost more and have a longer turn around time as well.

And honestly these are so well built, it’s not a bad thing that they stick out on 3rd gens, it’s just easier to grab on to.
