I really like your approach to keeping the control pack in place. Any chance you had the dimensions of you fabricated support brackets?

    Thanks

The real question is how many times have you got in the wrong truck thinking it was yours?

..or noticed your dad driving of in yours?

Also, couldn't you just change parking positions and tell him it was done? Looks the same, I mean good. Looks good =)

I can't believe you're already selling this beautiful setup. Wish I could trade you trucks!

Epic builds, I just read all 16 pages, your father taught you well, as both of your craftmanship is amazing. I only have one gripe, I wish one of the twins would have been a bastard, a double cab long bed,LoL. Maybe on the next set of trucks ,you'll come over to the dark side, DCLBTRDOR

I'm sure he'll respond, but the truck is posted on ADV Rider and Hodakaguy mentioned he is using the funds for an airplane build! With all I've learned here and elsewhere, I'll likely follow that build too!

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on the site. We sold both Trucks and the FWC as well, my father wasn't planning on selling his but someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse so his was sold as well :). At the same time I ended up moving and switching houses, unfortunately the new house doesn't have a large shop so the "airplane" money is going into building a new shop. I have a lot of squirrel in me and have come to realize that I enjoy the builds as much as using them when I'm done. I can't wait to get all my tools back in one place so I can start building again :)

We recently picked up a super clean one owner 2012 Tacoma and a new Vagabond Drifter camper...here's the link to the new build if your interested in following along: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/hodakaguys-vagabond-camper-truck-build-yes-again.583733/

Check out my post here. My trick was to interlink a 18mm wrench with a 12mm wrench to have additional leverage and so that I don't have to have my hands above the hoist. The bolts remove from the top.

@p3coyote, thank you. Got it done. Easier than I thought but I did buy a long 12mm ratcheting wrench :D
I’m happy to get my bed space back

    About halfway done...
Funny I just move my tire mount also.
Ended up being 1 1/2” back 1/2” to passenger side. Still need to pull tire back as its lifted the last few inches
