I'm interested in the seat foam, but weary of the shipping costs. Do you have pictures? Part numbers?

Will have pics shortly. What is your Zip? It isn't heavy, but the box is approx. 24" x 30" x 12" 10lbs or less.

Oh, this is a trip... I can't private message anyone anymore. It might be because I'm in Japan right now.

That price isn't bad. Did you try usps?

Additional questions, is the seat cushions for one front seat or both front seats? I see the part number are for for front driver side, with airbags but the nomenclature is tripping me out. "FRT, FR" is tripping me out, like FR might mean Front right.

Partial to UPS from past shenanigans with USPS. This is one upper cushion driver side sport seat and one lower cushion driver side (same as passenger) sport seat. I had 2006 TRD Off Road and these were to replace both pieces of foam in it's seat.

It was a PITA just getting the correct part numbers, but these are correct for the TRD seats.

I bought my 2008 DCSB used and debadged so I’m uncertain if it’s a TRD model. Would the foam work for my seats?

Yes, will fit drivers upper or either lower. Driver & passenger uppers are different because of lumbar assy.

Has your lumbar failed? I see that pillow. Seatback looks very thin. I also have a lumbar assembly for sale, but have a party pending on it right now.

Yeah, My drivers side lumbar is shot hence the pillow. I would also like to repair the rip in the lower seat fabric. Ideally I would just replace the whole seat but, that’s just too expensive. So, when I came across your thread I thought maybe it would be a good idea to see if what you have for sale would work in my seats.

I haven't heard anything out of the guy interested in the lumbar assembly. Will give him until tomorrow then I can offer it for sale. New they are ~$140, I am asking $110 for the one I have which is new in open package. I remember when mine broke it made the truck basically undrivable. I had intended to fully rebuild my drivers side, but now the truck is gone and I still have the parts.

Sounds good. Did you buy new seat covers or have OEM seat covers in good condition?

I put trd seat covers on 3 days after I bought the truck. The seat fabric itself looked new when I traded it. I too had been seeking seats, but for the money vs the condition of used, fixing mine made better sense, especially since my fabric was in good shape. Bolster area didn't have so much as a crease. Partly the seat covers, partly me making the extra effort to lift my fat behind when getting in and out. :D

Edit: I think an upholstery shop could maybe stitch that up on yours? Won't look new, but keep from further deterioration. If nothing else, get a set of the TRD covers to hide it. They are absolutely worth the money and look good too.

Can someone point me to where to purchase the actual seat fabric. Just picked up a 2nd gen and the drivers seat isn't in great shape.

I have read that it is no longer available. I have not confirmed. I need to warn you...it will be quite expensive if you can find it...I do know that. I swear I shoulda pulled my seats and stuck some salvage ones in there when I got rid of truck. Will be like gold in another couple years.

Give local upholstery shop a call. If they can't get it, you probably can't get it.

I find Toyota's parts system a PITA to use but you can lookup the parts online, as well as find good, discounted dealer rates at https://parts.toyota.com/

When I was searching for my Tacoma many of them had damaged seat fabric so I looked this up a couple years back and boy were the fabrics expensive. But that's to be expected with OEM parts from the dealer. Luckily I found a set of lightly used fabrics here on TW. They don't pop up often but you can find them.

Best part lookup I've found. Works a little quirky, but most comprehensive. Only good up to model year '14. http://www.japan-parts.eu/

Unfortunately, the lumbar assy is sold as of a few minutes ago. Just working out arrangements to meet up.
