    I think he was face palming because you said FOA (a fox company) couldn't compare to fox :notsure:
    IMO they don't compare
    I've read of so many FOA's that just leak and leak and leak.

    FOA = First Over All...

    And they make some decent stuff like cheap hydro bumps. In the end, ya get what ya pay for.

    I know a lot of Ranger/F150 guys who run them. Most of them sport high black socks and a can of Monster with a flatbill hat, but I digress.

    No need to take my word for it...I work with this company all the time. It's actually how they answer the phones "First Over All...so and so speaking".

    that's their nickname; "Foxes of Asia" although with their shoddy reputation around these parts (TacomaWorld at least) I don't know how they earned that name. if people were aiming for derogatory, they fell short.

    on a related note, OP what were you running before?

    FOA are an American built company that stand for first over all, my coilovers dont leak at all and FOA personally shipped me free seal kits just because i have their product. Great customer service and a good product. The quality has risen tremendously since 2008 when their shop burnt down and they revamped everything. You pay $400 for a set of COs from foa vs $850 from fox, so comparing them is dumb. Foa gives you a revalveable piston in a rebuildable shock for half the price of anyone else. They are a solid company in my opinion. Im running a 15 flutter stack on compression with a 12 stack on rebound so that should give me a great damper with a 120psi. Im excited to play with the flow of oil through the piston and see how the different shims react to my truck and different terrain. And for those of you who are still hating, im not asking your opinion and i want to keep this thread clean and uncluttered so please dont comment if your being negative.

    well obviously they don't leak now, you wouldn't have bought leaking shocks. FOA's reputation precedes that their product is substandard and leaks, possibly the reason they sent new seals free of charge in anticipation for a leak. who knows.

    have they improved? possibly so, but only time will tell. maybe you can be the one to put FOA back on the map, however I don't see how comparing them is dumb. I'm sure if you asked FOA they would agree that they are in direct competition with Fox, King, Icon, etc. so comparisons are inevitable. I wouldn't just buy one without looking at comparable kits.
