That’s it for me. I never understood the appeal. Also navy blue cabinets in a white kitchen.

I and another thing. I always feel like things should belong. Walking through lots of houses over the years of buying in different markets, it’s amazing how more people are not turned off when something doesn’t fit. Why is the master bedroom through the front closet? Or why is the toaster next to the tub? And why does the toilet open into the neighbors pool.

    Oh yeah and this............

Door bell rings right as I step out of the shower this AM.

    Dammit.

Rush down, it's the concrete pump truck guy...............WTAF?

He asks "Can we park the pump truck in the driveway?

I'm.......a bit speechless....."...uh.......you might need the forms put up first......."

"Oh, OH, I'm just here to survey the pour for tomorrow............."

Welp, it's 5:30PM and no one has showed up to put forms up.

    Great.

    I'm only paying for this.

    Much.

Yep, we had the same thought. We thought long and hard about it and kept everything pretty neutral.

Almost every house we looked at back in 2018 was grey interior and neutral or subtle tone exterior.

So i been looking for some wall art for my dining area. I was going to go modern abstract type but kinda found this website (not sure if its legit yet). i kinda like the way this looks with my wood dining table. Was thinking of getting rid of that plant and put a silver platter with candles, fake gold coins, and gems lol make it pirate style. IDK though, still on search but i copy and pasted the painting on my wall lol Resized_Screen_Sh001.jpg

Same here but we bought our most recent home in 2019. All of the newer homes we looked at were light gray or a light beige (interior walls) ... that's what people wanted, and still do. The house we ended up buying is a 1969 stone/brick ranch and the lady we bought it from had an extreme affinity for peach, a dark blue/gray mix, and green sponge paint...lol. She also painted the ceilings and trim the same awful color as the walls. It was crazy. She was the second owner and remodeled the house in the 90's and it screamed 1995! I'm glad she did it, it had to bring the price down a bit ... no doubt it turned some buyers off. I painted everything inside the week we closed and it made a HUGE difference.

i really think it depends on where the house is. If youre trying to modernize a home in the wilderness of montana, then thats different. Most of those houses are woody or earth tones. My new house in florida is modern, grey tiles, white cabinets and white granite counters. Its going to be probably 30-40 years till its out of style but still look good/ clean in my own eyes. ALSO to each is own. haha

Nothing is wrong with granite as long as you properly seal it every 6-18 months, FOREVER. I really meant quartz, but granite for the same reasons- stains, smelly bacteria accumulation
