Has anyone tried making any sliders for 3rd gen? I tried making some a while back and ended up cancelling the project and buying from Pelfreybilt but I really want to try to make a set if possible

Dunno, but I was contemplating your question..... I'd think there is quite a bit of fabrication needed to make the sliders DIY. It makes the cost of buying more attractive.

Yea that's exactly why I bought a set instead. I initially bought the materials and once I started cutting and piecing it together, I quickly realized it was harder than I thought. lol. Hated dropping $700, but it saved me a lot of work and profanity.

I think it would need to be a project that you just wanted to pursue.... I think either way you are going to pay for it.... In time or dollars. :)

Made these for a 3rd gen a while back. If you buy the right equipment like a bender and a notcher its not too bad, otherwise, I wouldn’t even think of building sliders. 3D241BCC-21FF-41E2-A70C-CCE9D8276B1B.jpg
