Instead of complaining, just go somewhere else.... or make it yourself.

People are going to charge what they want, most sellers on here are honest and sell at the best price they can. Some manufacture a lot and have tones of metal because they can buy in bulk. Others do this as a side business, almost as a favor, it usually costs a little more from them because supplies cost more to them. Same concept as buying something at your local mom and pop store verses Walmart. Usually costs a little more from mom and pop but the quality, workmanship, and service is almost always ten times better.

Not trying to sound like a dick or anything, but you sound like a douchbag.
Make your own or design a better one.
This is how business works, they design it, make it, sell it and profit from it.
No one goes into business not to make money or to lose money.

So you know what kind of person I am after 1 post? Good job man, you should be a psychiatrist. I am actually trying to help the buyers out because I know how much something like this cost and how much labor there is in this. But I guess this is the internet so no one is supposed to post their opinion on something right?

Within the market for this product...it seems to be priced very decently. There are other fabricators out there, do your research because I have done mine. If you would like to figure out all of the costs of producing this EXACT product and somehow come up with a cheaper price, then by all means go ahead. But from previous personal emails and testimonials on TW of Derek's work...there is no doubt that you are receiving your money's worth plus some with this product.

If we can move on and try to promote this mini group buy for the $70 that would be great.

Seriously...if you want it just buy it. No need to gripe about the prices. Just ignore it and move on to the next. If you think we're all suckers for paying $70 then oh well our bad. I personally do not have the time to make one of these nor to I have any equipment to do so.

Keep up the good work to all those producing custom work for tacos.

Clearly you don't know as much as you think because these prices are on par w/ the general market. Try making something this well finished in the average garage and it won't end nearly as cleanly as these items.

Not to mention the CoC specifically prohibts comments like yours...PM the seller if you have pricing questions or suggestions.

Nothing more to say here-Lets all move along...

Y'all rock. Sorry I was absent during the bickering.
Anyways, for those of you on the list, if I receive payment of $70 today I will honor that price. It has to be received today though.
I've gotta head out for my 9-5 now, but look forward to seeing some notifications come through. If you wanna have a fellow TWs back, you can send them a PM telling them I will honor the $70 today only. I simply won't have the time so hopefully all see this thread today.
Have a great day everyone, I'm gonna go pull a double now on my birthday....

Not the best shot in the world, but after a year I still love these brackets. They put light in the right spot well enough that I no longer even want a light bar for the roof and hood glare is negligible, even on a white hood.
