I removed my hood to do the timing belt job and placed it back on. Now My latch which holds the front part of the hood will not release. Anyone out there ran into this problem? Any sugestions

Mine used to stick from dirt and lack of use. Don't have to raise the hood that often on these bullet proof suckers. Anyway if the inside latch feel like it has popped then go around front pull the other release, hit the hood with the palm of your hand right over where the latch is, sometimes it might take a few smacks but usually it will pop up. Then check the alignment before you close it back and grease it good. Maybe a little w-d first then some of that good ole lithium.

^^^^ what he said. Also make sure that you aligned the hood properly. Not sure why you removed the hood to do a timing belt though. lol

Mine did the same thing after the timing belt change. Coolant had got in between the latch and it wouldn't budge. I used some engine clean on the latch washed it off and then put some good synthetic lubricant and it works great now.
