How does one mount the custom screen or panel in the scoop?

I'm thinking about epoxying some blocks into the insert and then epoxying the panel to the blocks.

There are three parts to the scoop. The scoop itself which is painted to match the hood. A insert which is a plastic bucket like thing. And a panel or screen. I don't have the this panel. But I have some material left over from my satoshi grill that I would like to use instead.

I am going from a flat hood to a scooped hood. I did not buy that piece because I wanted it to match my grill.

I'm not tracking...I epoxy my custom screen to the stock panel?
