Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
which do you like better? I like the clean finished look of non hood scoop personally. The hood scoops look cool but serve no purpose as they are non functional.

If the scoop actually did something, it would be different... It is a fake, and that surprises me that Toyota would put anything fake on such a great truck. Obviously, there are enough Tacoma buyers who are into 'looks' and not 'function', and the scoop appeals to them. Different strokes for different folks... hope they never put it on the Off Road TRD!

Function aside the scoop looks nice, personal opinion but I think most people would get the hood scoop if it was a free option at the time of purchase. Those that would not are (like most) biased of what the currently have

    i love my scoop.
to me it gives it a more aggressive look, and pulls the whole front end together

I'm wondering if anyone has made theirs functional. If so, I'd get the scoop and put it to work. :)

Think I will mount speakers under my hood and near my tailpipe, record a blown and gear driven 440 max wedge and set the volume to 11. That should keep the ricers at bay.
