Good point, I guess all of that ridiculous chrome would appeal to the more feminine buyers.

no and yes. i kinda like the looks. BUT i cant see over it really. and it serves no purpose so i would rather see better. if it really worked like a scoop is suppose to than i would maybe have got the sport or found someone to trade hoods with.

    Scoop.

Yes! it has no function, BUT it looks nice.
Don't understand why these ppl state everything has to be useful/functional.

It funny that ppl don't like the scoop b/c it non-functional. Wonder how much useless stuff they have laying around their house that they don't need.

Make me think they just wear t-shirts and sweats all day every day because you know... Collar shirts are useless, ties are useless, button are useless. Who gives a shit about style when it has no function and useless.

My hunch is that who you refer to as 'women', are in reality, mini pads...

Careful there, Chester. It is my understanding that a conviction will result in you having to file with the local authorities anywhere you might move to in the future...

    This poll is flawed .

It's not fair to the guys that voted against the scoop because they were obviously misled by their dealership salesmen into not realizing the true awesomeness of teh scoop .

    Scoop not functional?

    1) Able to catch bugs before hitting windshield
    2) Able to measure my distance and keep center on the road
    3) Able to say my truck has S/C "Sport Charged"
    4) Able to not be the one to say "I wish I had a Sport Hood"
    5) Able to not be the one to buy a "Stick On" Auto Zone Hood Scoop to compromise

These are 5 I can think of.......anyone else feel free to share with others on this thread....

....I actually had a non-scoop pre-runner beginning of the year....but since the end of the world is suppose to happen next year....I got a 4x4 sport now....the "Scoop" is what sold me.....4x4 was cuz its better to have and not need, then to need and not have......

Free Scoops for everyone....lets start a petition....TSB with Toyota to install Scoops on all Tacomas....heck with it....lets put Scoops on all Toyotas period :)

You have not driven a Tacoma until you have driven a "Scoop" Tacoma.....
