Certifit made a decent product according to the folks who have used them.
You can try to trade with someone who has one.

Just don't get any type that installs with 3M tape...

Not sure why anyone would actually want a Toyota hood with a fake scoop. Useless. I have one on my Sport, but it pisses me off every time I look at it. I don't like things that are non-functional on a vehicle. Just my opinion of course....

I am sure if you posted a trade someone would take you up on it, I see alot more people on here wanting to get a scooped hood than wanting to get rid of one.

I can't say I'm all that fond of mine either. I just don't want to bother with a trade. My experience from working on other vehicles in the past is that fitting a hood is a pain in the ass to get it aligned correctly.

Care to trade with him? Sounds like a perfect match, that is of course if they're different colored hoods.

I'm with scottri. Although I see no benefit to the hood I have, it would only reduce the value of my truck if I put a standard hood on there. If I needed the $$ in order to continue eating, that would be one thing, but I don't.

I'm not saying the scoop is ugly - it's simply unnecessary and not worth paying money for because it's non functional in every way. Toytota could have spent the money more wisely... Now, if it actually worked, it would be a different matter!

I like my non-scooped hood. Buy, anyways........ I always wonder....when I hear about guys trading hoods if one of the two guys are getting a chipped, swirl marked, bug deflector damaged, piece of garbage.
