RJM, thanks for the pic. Could you please if you get a chance to take a pic of your mic mounted in your truck? I want to make sure I have the same one. Thanks

RJM, thanks for this. Going to try and splice this in when I get home from work. I hate the aftermarket mic look.

you beat me to it. this is why I wanted to see a pic of it. when I saw the first pic it instantly told me it was not the factory mic. also, mentioned that the slack was coiled up and ziptied. another sign of it being aftermarket. RJM yes it might be working with the factory stereo in there but it was def an aftermarket addon Bluetooth and mic. I install professionally and there is not a car out there that you can use the factory mic. ( at least not that I have ever heard of or seen). unfortunately this is not going to work and I don't think RJM knew. is what it is

Guys, thats my factory mic. The truck arrived this way when it rolled off of the trailer at the dealership with 2 miles on the odometer. Its a 2011 so more than likely it was a Port Arrival add-on. Not aware of any other mics in my truck.

RJM.... no worries... just letting people know that if they don’t have a mic like you then it’s a no go... sorry for them. But, they could mount the new one in a same or close location so that’s always an option.

I installed mine a while ago and it's awesome but my factory sub doesn't work anymore. Anyone know what connector goes to the sub?

    Hi.

I'm trying to use the T01 Maestro Harness, but I'm totally tearing out the factory JBL system and I'm not using the factory camera which means this harness has a lot of wires I don't want.

When I first installed my stereo I didn't know about idatalink and so I used the PAC RP4.2-TY11 to integrate steering so I am familiar with the harness a little. Looking at the Maestro harness I suspect I don't need to use the 12 pin and 6 pin connectors. The 6 pin had purple/green speaker wires which I've removed and a blue wire. The 12 pin connector wasn't in the PAC harness and I don't really recognize it so I'm not sure if I use it.

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. I circled the two connectors that I think I won't need and included an image of the three connectors the RP4.2-TY11 uses to integrate into the truck. Anyone know if I need that blue wire in the 6 pin connector?

I managed to get the answer to my question on the Maestro 12voltdata forums.

    Here's the link for reference.
    http://www.12voltdata.com/viewtopic.php?p=73298#p73298

I'll summarize here: Since I'm not using any of the factory speaker wires or the factory amp, I don't need connector #5 and I don't need the 12 pin connector for my vehicle year/package.

So I will remove all the wires I don't need & hopefully it'll help everything fit into the dash just right.
