I have a 2011 TRD Sport and my horn has quit working. Of all the threads and links I've found on here, I cant seem to find a place to buy the Spiral Cable (clock spring as some call it) online. Local parts store wants $324 (Canadian) and the dealer is $430! I've checked with the dealer about recalls for this part but nothing is available to have it replaced under warranty/recall.

The link for parts on this thread below no longer works. After searching around online, I haven't found anything that looks reliable. Would anyone know where to buy this thing?

    Thanks!

There is an oem one on eBay right now for 218. I just purchased one today from camelback Toyota here on the forum for a little cheaper. Local dealer wanted 490.00 for part and install, but it’s looks like a pretty easy install. I’ve read that the aftermarket ones are hit and miss as far as longevity. FYI, I dealt with Gunny at Camelback Toyota. Best vender on tacoma world in my opinion. Very professional and super fast response time. Highly recommend.

I changed mine once, a 10 minute job.
I need to change it AGAIN.

Seems Everytime a garage touches the suspension they scrap my clockspring... They are really sensitive to any misalignment it seems.

I'd pull one from a junked truck.

Nothing in the suspension would affect (scrap) your clockspring...completely unrelated

All done with mine! I ordered a new one from Gunny at Camelback Toyota! It took me about 30 mins to change it and I was taking my sweet ass time to make sure I didn't break any plastic tabs or anything. I could probably do it again in 15 mins. Put it all back together, hooked up the battery and the F%$^ing horn didn't work... I knew I'd checked everything. Horns were unplugged from the last time I messed with it... Haha!

My horn stopped working and the airbag light is on, but I remember the "ON" light was lit before, which it isn't now.
