I got mine through Gunny. Was reading about the ebay/Amazon replacements going out within a year, so I figured I would go with a genuine OEM part on this.
It is a really easy fix, even if you have to do it once a year. Takes about 10-15 minutes.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I tore into it years ago, for what I can't really remember, but I do remember how to get it all apart and everything.

From what I've been able to use of it... It does. Lol. Truck has been down since shortly after install. I'll report back in the next few days hopefully.

Where is this green wire with red stripe? I'm also having horn troubles. Tested the horns and they work, ground is tested good, fuse is good, swapped relays around with a known good one so that's not the problem.

I want to ground this green/red wire to make sure it's clock spring or horn switch before I order expensive parts

When you turn the steering wheel hard left/hard right and press the horn, does the horn work?

Nope. I'm not sure when the last time I actually used the horn was either. It could have been out for a very long time

The Green wire with the red strip is inside the steering wheel cover behind the air bag and spiral cable.

This will help get to it. In one of the pictures you will see the Green wire with a Red Stripe on the black connector.

Dealership told the spiral cable would be a $600 part. I'll just live within a horn I guess..

I just ordered one from one of those dealerships with online parts stores and it cost me about 400 Canadian Dollars to my door. Likely a fair bit cheaper south of the border.

Also, if you need to do a diagnostic, grounding the green wire with red stripe behind the steering wheel should set the horns off. You can access it by removing the bottom plastic steering column cover (no need to remove steering wheel). I unplugged the connector and used a scrap piece of wire to ground the green/red wire to the 12V plug in the dash (easiest known good ground I could reach). You may need to have the key in the on position for that to work though; the 12V power plug circuits are only on with the ignition. If the horn beeps, then you know the horn circuit is fine everywhere on the vehicle side of the steering column. It's just two screws to remove the one trim piece, then unplugging one connector.

One of those “duh, why didn’t I think of that?” things that somebody on here mentioned. Push the panic button on the fob. If the horn blows, the fuse, relay and horns are OK.

I ordered the clock spring for $28.20 from Amazon in early March. So far so good on my 2011 Sport w/cruise & radio controls.
I was going to include a link with part number, but the sellers (XSPANDER) clock spring sales page is no longer there.
The compatible part numbers are in this ad description (not sure which one was specific to mine):
XSPANDER 84306-06140 84306-06110 84306-48030 84306-0E010 for Toyota Camry Avalon Corolla RAV4 Tacoma Tundra, Lexus and Scion

So not much help except to say that my horn now works again, as well as cruise control and steering wheel radio controls, for under $30. Install was a breeze thanks to this thread. Disconnected the battery, no steering wheel puller needed, and I did not have to transfer any gray plastic part from the old spring to the new.
I did squint a lot when removing and reinstalling the air bag wires. :D

well.. think it went out again. my airbag light is on. I'm assuming of course its from the clockspring.
