you can plan on removing the LCAs to grease them? how does that work?

 

I was reading that the bolts in there are put in by the factory without grease. And that over time, if you ever want to do anything on your alignment, install a different lift, or swap LCA out, that they can seize up. So I figured I'd just grease them to prevent this. Do I have it wrong?

Mine seized up! Had to get a new one from toyota. Think it was only 20 bucks or so

 

This from this post, he suggests:

"For those just greasing up the cam bolts: index them, remove all the bolts, clean, lube, and re-install them. Be sure to also clean and grease the inside of the bushings. You should still get an alignment afterwords."

 

Eh I'd rather leave them alone, if they seize take a sawzall to them and get new ones.

Still haven't done my spark plugs, diff fluids, tranny fluid, t-case fluid....sitting at 38,700 :/

 

Why change trans fluid at such low miles? I thought you don't have to change trans fluid until 100k

 

Lol I'm at 70 and haven't touch none of that

 

I'm at 90 and have only done the spark plugs.

 

I didn't even do that

 

I figured i can start collecting all the oils, belts, plugs, and whatever else to do it all in one day lol

I couldn't believe how easy it was to change out the spark plugs on my truck.

 

Instead of a mod day we can do a maintenance day. Lol
