I went to a Firestone dealer today in Albany, NY and got this quote for Destination A/Ts:
    4 265/70 R16s: $127.99 each for $511.96
and with various fees, parts and labor, the final price after taxes would be $721.85 to include install and alignment check.....
    What do you all think?

Any suggestions to go 265/75 R16??????

    Thanks!
    -Bill

200 in fees and labor is friggin insane. Buy them from tire rack and have a shop do it for way less than that.

I changed to 265/75/16 BFG ATs, I love the look but the gas dropped 1-2mpg. Mild trimming on the fender plastic, the black section in side the wheel. No more rubs.

well that deff seems like a good price for the tire but the labor seems like kind of alot.

honestly if you have a discount tire in your area go there, the one in my sear worker with me like crazy got myself some 255/55-18 for like 550 installed and also got rims to fit the tires which were about 800 so i walked outta there way cheaper than anyother shop in town

    just a couple comfort items.
I just bought four 265/75/16p Firestone destinations from online tires for $510.00 picked up because im local to the warehouse. Had them mounted and balanced for $65.00 at a local tire place. That included removing my tpms and new valve stems Your price is good for the tires ! BTW I was getting the same quotes $ 725.00 - $800.00 OTD from the Firestone shops and independent dealers everywhere I called

Tire Kingdom had a sale that was only 4 hours long on Saturday from like 8 - noon(a few months back). It was advertised as buy 2 tires get 2 tires free any size/make. When I called then for a quote it was a joke - mandatory 4 wheel alignment, full suggested retail on the two tires you purchased plus other shop costs/fees. It put them out of the ballpark when compared to everyday retail pricing at your local tire store.

I have no issues but I have a second set of tires which are 33s that I already trimmed for. But 265/75/16 will fit without any rubbing on a stock truck.
