I'm not suggesting that you do this, but I've heard that people download their movies, mp3's, etc , for FREE..from a site called "thepiratebay"... I can't confirm this though..

This. Sounds compressed as hell, no matter what vehicle ive had it in. I never renew, sounds so bad wouldn't renew for $1/month.

I'm a growed up man.... and I like music, but I'd never do anything to deprive a millionaire of their $1.99/song... I'm with you buddy...

I was "just saying".... U know..??

download and buy 'wondershare audio recorder' no XM in Hawaii so i play XM on my computer and the audio recorder grabs it in MP3 format. then just move to a usb stick. easy open the audio recorder then find music on the internet click play on the music and then click record on the recorder. not that much $ i would google for best price maybe $29. i let XM play for hours while recording it creates a huge mp3 file and is just like listening to XM in the truck. i maybe up date the music every 2 or 3 months.

I'm totally feeling you. Just like I personally wouldn't steel from the millionaires at Toyota by steeling a truck of the lot.

The XM-Sirius receivers I have experience with have a compression setting. You have to turn the compression off. Same goes for Verizon FIOS. You have to turn the compression off.

Can anyone confirm the max number of mp3s you access on the USB with the 2016 Entune system? My 2015 Entune system can only access 10,000 files max, even though I loaded 18,000 files on it.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

the music industry has changed. Because of iTunes, selling those songs for .99 dollars, people aren't paying 10-20 dollars for the full album. There are no more platinum records making musicians and bands millions of dollars. They have to make their money by playing concerts now.

Please tell me more about this piratebay. I have no idea what it is

A question about the entune premium system it says HD. Is that regular radio stations in high definition or is that a whole separate list of stations?

That's pretty close to the same ones I've been using - just a slightly different model but about the same size (also Sandisk Cruzer).
I've been buying 64gb models even though that's way more than I need. I've had them plugged into four different cars now and I just leave them in there and forget about it.
I just made a new one for the Tacoma and it worked out just fine. Surprisingly, some of the ITunes files that wont play on my Ford Sync system (it says "file protected") - play just fine on this Entune system.

I just stream Spotify via Bluetooth. I have spotify premium, $10/month. Well worth it. also has ability to locally host songs (not stream) so that I can still play songs when I don't have cellular service.

2016 or older head unit? The new one seems quite snappy compared to my wife's '15 Lexus Entune system...
