nice set up. I'm a bit curious as to your set up for bringing your boats. I am a truck newb of sorts. I was able to get both my recreational yak and a 13.5 family toy on my subaru but in never felt safe and I wish I could say I never lost a boat on the interstate. I have a cap with OEM rack on cab and Thule on cap but haven't been lucky enough to take the boats out yet.

Aside from boats I am reading this thread diligently becuase my gas mpg was 16.9 first tank and 18.9 second tank. I am really hoping to get to 20 as my driving may be city but it is 8 miles on hwy with no traffic and 2 miles of lights and light traffic.

My 2014 TRD will not get past 15.5 MPG. 50 miles a day on Interstate. I keep it at 2k. I do have large tires and wheels now. Which tach a lower RPM. About 4 miles off @ 70 MPH. Even before the set up, it was still 15.5 or 16 at best. Now I'm hearing a high pitched shrill when giving it the gas. Sounds so much like a diesel. Wonder if I have a tiny intale leak some where? What say you, my TW friends???

There's only so much you can do when it's city driving- especially somewhere like LA.
