I decided to find out how rusty other people think my truck is, I find that for being under coated my truck has a lot of rust coming through. What do you guys think?

The first few are of the inside of the frame where it wasnt undercoated. I know for sure it was under coated roughly one year ago before i bought the truck but I am not sure if it was before that.

Up north or not, that sucks balls for a 5 year old truck. You might become the poster child for the next buy back.

You could probably sand that a bit and spray with rust-inhibiting paint, that would at least not let it get much worse.

I'm not sure if that stuff works, but I've heard of people using it.

That's because it's on the sea floor and isn't exposed to oxygen. [/scientist]

FWIW, it looks like surface rust to me (no biggie, imo)...but your truck is too young for that.

I have a feeling it was rusting bad before it was under coated and the only reason it was done was to cover up the rust so i didnt notice when i made the purchase.
