I have an 05 double cab with the camburg mid travel kit and deavers in the back. Curious how big of tire i should run. Currently have the stock sport rims on my truck. It is a 4x4 and i have thought about trading down to a 16" wheel so i have more options for tires but not sure if there is an issue with calipers for the smaller rim. Also next mod with be fiberglass fenders up front . so curious if i should go with a 33 or a 35? also what width could i run. Any help is appreciated.

How much lift do the Camburg mid travel kits give in the front?

    Short of a 6" lift I wouldnt even consider a 35"

I have it set with about 2.5 inch of lift up front and 2 in the rear. This is where camburg suggested run it for best ride and performance. I was only thinking about a 35 after i put on fiberglass fenders but think i have strayed away from this and just going to do 33's or 385's just need to know what width to run for a 17 inch rim.

Get ready to trim like crazy even running a 285/70 on the 2.5 lift.

It wont be very off offroadable unless you really cut the front bumper/fender portion as well.

285/70's.....And get yer' dremel tool warmed up!

I don't mind trimming the front bumper cause eventually going to take it off and get a prerunner tubular bumper fabed up for front to put a skid plate on and some lights. so 285/70/17 and what about a 33? what would the width on that be 11.50?
