How 'bout them HIDs?

I've been gone from TW for 6-7 months or so. Sorry 'bout that. I looked into HIDs last year but was discouraged from simply buying the drop-in replacements because the reflectors don't work well directing the light.

Have there been any advancements since then? I know some folks have been working on retrofitting OEM HID assemblies into their Tacomas but I don't know much about that project and its process.

If you have BHLM and have a dremel, you can Retro. Its that easy.

If you just aim your headlights peroperly and stick to 35W bulbs you won't be blinding anyone.
