How deep of water would you go with a stock Tacoma?

Yes, water penetrated our starter. The truck was sitting in water for a couple minutes tho, not making a wake.
As for depth, this photo is about a foot shallower than the deepest it's been.

Top of the tires as most people agree on.

I had my 2nd gen, stock except for 32.5 inch tires. I had my truck sunk down in a mud pit up to about my door handles on the drivers side, and a little higher than the top of the tires on the passenger side. Haven’t had any problems since and that was about 2,000 miles ago.
