Finally made the jump and found this gem on Craigslist.

    https://youtu.be/wYofwqxjBFw

    - 1100 lb dry weight
    - Floor intact, no rot (pop ups are notorious for rotted floors)
    - Barely any surface rust on frame
    - inside stove
    - Outside BBQ stove
    - No rips or tears in cover or cushions
    - Canopy, never used
    - Screen room, never used
    - Change room/ potty room, never used
    - EasygoNow potty, bags
    - All appliances barely used
    - Icebox (may replace with fridge)
    - Propane heater with thermostat
    - Almost full propane tank
    - All running lights work
    - Original owner's manual and clean title

Needs minor hardware tweaks, bad drawer latch, door could use a little love but it works, missing one 50 cent piece for the middle canopy rod, probably needs tires, these are 22 years old. Going to run through the undercarriage with grease. Possibly wheel bearings but not showing any signs of problems.

    $1100.

Ad said $1200, I told the guy "Not even going to dicker." He says "Okay then, $1100 is my final offer." :-D

Considering new ones start at around 7 grand I think we did well. An irony message from the universe: we were leaving the house to go look at this one and checked the mail before we left the house. There's a letter from the mortgage company . . . refund on Escrow overpayment. Guess how much the check was? :-D

Looks like a good deal to me. The one thing I’d do for sure is pull the bearings and replace and repack them. You could just inspect them but I would replace them. They dont cost much and then you know for sure you are good to go.

That is a sweet little set up. Not sure what part of the country you're in but that looks like it would be perfect for some Florida camping...especially in the cooler months.

I pulled the hubs yesterday and it looks like the bearings were recently packed. It came with all the paperwork: owner's manual, axle manual, all the service records, a good sign it was well taken care of. There's almost nothing to do other than little stuff, which is kind of what I wanted, I don't need any new projects lol.

The big deals are tires, over 20 years old, and the RV battery, dated 07. The paperwork has a receipt for the battery, $46 LOL . . . they are around $170 or so now. :-\

    minor tweaks
I'd stick some buddy bearings on it. Smallish wheels are hard on bearings, also those smaller size tires need to be watched closely. They typically aren't the quality we expect out of a tire.

    Looks like a nice deal!

20 year old trailer tires are way past replacement and are literally dangerous. Be sure to replace them with “trailer” tires. There are a number of reasons for that I won’t go into now. And when you are running trailer tires, run them at the max air pressure shown on the tire. Trailer tires are different from car tires. They are designed to run at max pressure. Under inflation of trailer tires is the number one cause of catastrophic failure (blow out). Under inflation causes them to run hotter. The more under inflated the hotter they run until - bang, blowout. Again nice trailer, you are going to have a great time with it.

Yeah as mentioned, first thing to go, appointment for exact replacements tomorrow. Don't even have to take them off, they said to bring the trailer by and we'll do it here. $137 installed.

I woulda paid the $1,200. I would pick that up for that price looks like a fun thing.

Sold my old 1992 Toyota pickup for $1,000 ( years and years and 200,000 miles ago ).....

Dude insulted me and offered me $999.99 and I told him to scram.
He laughed it off and said ok ok $1,000 and I told him to get off my property.
