Was thinking about how I met my wife today and got around to wondering where most others meet their significant other.

I met my wife while we were in high school. She was 14 yrs old :anonymous:

    Looking!
Met my wife after I began going back to church. Then, through a mutual friend, we met at his birthday party. Took several years before she would go out with me though. Been married almost 30 years.

Hell yes!!! LOL, I met my wife on hotornot back in '04 when her little brother (now Marine infantry and my brother in law) told her to search for guys with USMC in their keywords.

6 years after our first date we got married at Stone Brewery and I've never been happier with any other woman!

At a large scale Mass Casualty Incidient Drill. She came up to my Ambulance and asked for a towel. I liked the way she looked in Firefighter bunker gear. We just had our 10 year wedding anniversary yesterday!

Met my GF at a bar night club after I went partying to get over my ex of 3 1/2 years (I broke up with her, It still was difficult though). I had met her off n on a couple times over the years (like 6ish) and I took her home, got walked in on in the middle of the deed by family. I moved out 2 days later and we've been amazingly happy together for past 6 months. I'd swear i'ma marry this one, one day.

Many many years ago....before the internet existed.....

There were cyber-net (??) games you could play where you logged into a local computer via the phone line. There was this game called "2001 - a Space Odyssey" (I think that's what I remember).
This game was local and a bunch of us who played it, got together and had BBQ's and such. My husband-to-be was part of this group.
I also had a class with him in college, but I never talked to him. I was checking him out for a while though - thought he was frigin CUTE!!!!!!

So.....needless to say, after meeting and going out with this mutual gamer group - we started to date.

After that first date...I called my mom and said, "He's THE ONE!!!!"
(that was probably 20 years ago)
