I understand the purpose of this feature but I would like to disable it. For those that don't understand, this is the constant beep that goes off when you use the remote to lock the doors while one is still open.

Is there a way to disable this? I still want the beep-beep when I lock or unlock but I want to disable the lockout protection feature.

    Thanks.

I lock my doors by hitting the button on the drivers side door before closing my door, no annoying beep

That sucks...I was really hoping there was a way to disable it. With a 3yr old, I frequently have my hands full getting out of my truck. I would use the door lock but I am afraid that I won't have my keys when I do. Instead, I have to wait until all the freaking doors are shut....THEN reach in my pocket and find the lock button. And my hands are usually full of diaper bags and kids.

<sigh>...I guess I'll stick to my regular routine.
