The use of the screwdriver, or a small socket wrench on the washer fluid side made this so easy.

    Thanks y'all!

I parked my truck about 300 feet from a speed bump and made an adjustment.
Then I pulled up to a storefront with a 1/2 wall and full size windows to level them
    It worked great!

    Cheers errybody!

LOL :) Thank you for saying "Hell No." Because I just ordered two new assemblies, drivers side has a lot of condensation in it and blowing bulbs (Cracked somewhere). Thought I would get a set of new assemblies versus one to make sure they both look correct (after market). After reading that PDF I was thinking, "Well, I guess I am going to make a service appointment with Toyota to have them align what I am putting in." lol. Seemed a bit overkill, going back to the old standard eyeball adjustment with lights pointed at a garage door. Thanks for the info on all this. This truly is an amazing forum, I have learned so many things and have been able to find any answer about my Taco easily. :)

I called the local Toyota dealership asking for a price to adjust my headlights. They quoted me $60, they said it was going to take an hour and that dealership never adjusted headlights before. Researching online was a joke. The Tacoma World members and threads are awesome. I adjusted my headlights in 5 minutes after reading through the forum.

Even though the the 2012+ lights are slightly different than earlier models, they adjust exactly the same. Clockwise with the screwdriver turns the "gear" to adjust the beam up. CCW adjusts it down. It takes 5 minutes.

Suddenly I'm not surprised why every lifted truck on the road goes around blinding all other drivers.

Good on you guys who are trying to adjust yours down.

To those who keep them at blinding height -- You are asking for someone to crash into you head on some day.
