Not much. Toyota bed mat, Toyota step bars, tinted windows, Toyota seat covers, Toyota all-weather mats, quart of Wild Turkey in the glove box, KelTec PT3AT in the center console, backseat full of old speeding tickets
Don't know if I'm the only one, but my '07 has never chimed, buzzed or anything like that. I bought the truck new and noticed right away that there was no chime if the seatbelt was not fastened. The little red guy on the speedo blinks but thats it. Then I noticed that there was no chime when I opened the door with the key in the ignition. Cool. This is one problem that I am NOT going to point out to the dealer

jrws6 , could you further explain which switch (and where it is) you were referring to that needs to be unplugged to kill the "key-in" dinging.

Thanks for a helpful reply to the post. It was a refreshing change.

Natedog, There is a black pressure switch behind the door, on the rear door, or rear of the cab depending which truck you have. I am going to try and post a pic. take a socket and unscrew the bolt that holds it in and then unplug it, and that should take care of it. The pressure switch i am refering to is NOT the switch below the striker plate. Hope this helps. Jason

What we do with our tacomas at work... Buckle the seat belt without anyone sitting on the seat. Then hop in and get out/in as often as you'd like without the annoying beeping sound!

Thank you, this is my best mod to date... I hate that stupid chime, working on the truck, camping, trailer, music, I can keep going, just because I'm not driving doesn't mean I take my keys out..... Peace at last..... Old post but, Thank you....

Well, I have news for everyone commenting on the date-- these issues people have with their trucks, ARE NO RESPECTORS OF TIME.. They don't expire. The same issue that someone had from the beginning of their trucks life, will still continue to be had FOREVER, to somebody else .

Like me, I just got helped by this "old post". Why does it even matter? If it is something you don't want to see, then keep scrolling or get a different hobby.
