I bought my Prerunner used and it didn't have a manual. I searched for this answer but it's not coming up.

How do I lock my rear diff? Is it the button under the steering column that kind of looks like " (_!_) " ? If not, what is this button for?

    Thanks!

yep..... look at that pic. If you have that button to the left of the steering wheel, then theres your answer. If theres no button, then you dont have a locker unfortunately.

Just curious, what are the limitations on pushing that button? Below 5mph only or in Neutral? Will it stay locked if you accelerate past 5mph to saaaay 60 on the sand? Can I unlock it at speed?

yes you can unlock it at any speed. I use mine on the drag strip and have no problem unlocking it at 90mph.
