Hey guys, have some Olive Green on the way to the house so I'm looking for ideas to mount them in the truck.

I am preferably wanting to mount them inside the truck bed, any ideas?

What do you guys use to lock them down and mount them on? I didn't buy the Mounting Pins since I figure someone in the community has a cheaper and better way of doing it.

    Thanks guys!

I'm also interested in options for mounting to a bed rack. Local overland store said there weren't any over the counter products to do it a the time.

Looking good JDAM, I have an RTT coming too and some bed bars, half the height of yours. I'm pretty sure you can make something happen with that bed rack of yours, someone in the community here will be able to show you.

This is one option but I wanted to see what else was out there since we do have some crafty minds here.

Also curious to see if anyone has mounted these to a Baja Rack roof rack or similar. Right now I have TRED boards mounted there with the TRED-brand mounts, which are ziptied to the rack. I'm sure there's a better way, especially if I'm looking to upgrade to Maxtrax.

That's not a bad idea... I'll expand upon it and suggest taking the 2 studs towards the center and replacing them with eyes. Then take a piece of pipe that fits in the eye and flatten the other end and drill a hole for the stud.

If needed, get some pipe insulation to cover the pipe and take up the spacer so they don't rattle.

Here are a couple pics of ways I have mounted mine. The same mounts can be used in the bed track, in T-Slots or around square/round tube on Gobi or Baja style racks. The pin locations are slots so they work with more than just MaxTrax as well. Laser cut from Stainless Steel.

I'll add that I would also offer a group buy on them if there is interest. I only have 1 or two sets left at the moment and need to get another run going.

Carriage bolts straight out of the rail. Wing nuts. Weapons safety cable lock. (File down two sides of the carriage bolt head to allow better fitment in the rail.)
Ignore the other cable. It is for my tool box.
Better photo showing carriage bolt mounts, but for the jack. Same set-up behind the Trax:

    Like, so many.
There's a big thread on this already. Lots of ideas in there.
