I back in, especially since some crap of a person nailed my rear bumper at the airport parking garage once while i was away on a trip. Didn't notice until later that week when i washed it. I only hope it messed up their car more than my bumper...

There was one time there was no places for me to back in. With the lack of room I had to pull in. Because of the snow and people couldn't leave enough space for people get out of their vehicles. I so instead of trying to squeeze myself into a spot, I parked on a snow bank. I backed up and onto the snow bank. I don't think some people were impressed.

95% of the time I back in. I have a back up camera and I tend to be more in the center of the space that way. Try to find an end spot on the last row at work. Park close to the curb since there will be someone next to me. My job will frown on parking on the curb. Doing that, I still had someone park close to me, chipped paint on my step with their door and folded my mirror to get by.

    back to bone stock.
i do both. depend on the spot.

it isnt a danger thing..i look. besides, some would argue that you create the same danger backing into a spot. whatever.

some spots are only accessible if you go in reverse. and Home depot type runs..kinda stupid to have your truck backed in, and you can access the truck bed.

mostly back in, especially going somewhere where a bunch of people will be leaving at the same time...tried backing out after a concert once and that was damn near impossible, people wouldn't let me until I forced my way out.

American parking spaces are freaking huge (compared to the European spaces I've used so many times over the years), so I have no problem getting into and out of them in any way I please at the moment. Don't even really think about it. I probably most often pull in forwards, but I've backed in as well. Also like to drive through to the opposite space so I can drive straight out when leaving.

If it's wide open I'll pull straight in. If it's an in between spot, I'll back in.

For some reason it works every time; it only takes one to start and then the others follow, and always trucks, very seldom cars.

I back in or pull through to the far spot when I can. Some places around here are too tight to back in like the place my mom works at I have to just pull in and be SUPER careful when backing out.

always back in no matter what, even in angled lots. I'll just drive through the lane in reverse til I get to the spot I want, I get weird looks but I tend to park better reverse than head-in. Almost always park underneath a light pull, got it down to a science to where I'm maybe 2mm away from hitting it.

Well this is how a bunch of Toyota's parked at the top of a parking garage here in LC. That's my buds Tundra all the way to the right and me to the left of him. We didn't know the other people.

    Toyota Parking.jpg

Edit: Okay I'm an idiot. That's my buds Tundra all the way to the LEFT and me to the RIGHT of him.

Whatever is easier in the situation. These little add-on mirrors make it so much easier to park and change lanes on the highway. I can't stand waiting for some idiot trying to back into a spot when pulling in front first was just as easy.
