Same where I work. All the spaces are angled but some folks that arrive early enough like to pull through. But they will sometimes ticket you for it, "parked against the flow of traffic" or some such.

At work, I always park facing the north, so the tinted back window faces the sun most of the time, negating the need to put a shade up.

My wife gets car sick easily, don't need her barfing all over my truck. so usually pull or she gets out before i park. other than that, always try to land an end-spot, back in, and hug the curb. At work, I'm the asshole that takes up two spots. Would do it everywhere else, but I know some dick would key my paint or ding it or something.

I back into my spot at work, just depends on the parking spots everywhere else. Also almost always park in an end spot way at the back of the lot. My wife hated it at first but then she got use to it especially once she realized how many door dings it has saved us!

I used to back in years ago, until a friend of the family who works at a body shop was telling me that if you get damaged in a parking lot, they can't get the paint as tough as the factory, because they can't bake it. So if you do a lot of highway driving, and they have to repaint the front, the paint won't be as "tough" to highway debris, and might chip easier. In the Mustang it was a little hairier to back out if there was a car beside me because it was dropped, but I find in the Taco it's rare I can't see either over the car beside me, or through the windows if it's a van. But like most, I try to park away from everyone anyway.

And at home, depends on the season. My driveway has southern exposure, so in the winter, I back in so the sun melts the snow and ice from the window, and the summer I pull in frontwards so the sun hits the tinted rear windows. Oh, and the bonus is that when there is an inch or two snowfall on the driveway, I shovel a small area, and by the end of the day, most of the snow has melted from the sun hitting the black driveway!

I always back in when i can, hopefully away from other cars (unless it's another taco) cock the wheels to one side. Get out and lock it, walk 50 feet and then glance back. i can't help it.

Mostly always back in, unless I can't for some reason, and always away from other cars.

Also places I frequent a lot, there are certain spots I like to park in. :D

I back in wherever possible. Atleast until I get the rear steel bumper ordered. Then I won't mind someone hitting it in a lot while it's parked. Someone already backed into the front one after it was installed. He wrecked his car. Taillights, quarter panel, trunk and bumper all crushed in. I didn't even have a paint scratch on that steel beast. Muahaha. Money well spent for the urban parking combat as well as the offroading.

spinning in parking lots and side to side movement when parking makes her dizzy. so if we are at a restaurant, she usually goes inside and get a table or puts our name on the waiting list, then at that point I find the spot i want. most other times i just pull in a spot, which i hate; but one has to sacrifice for the one he loves.

Whenever I get the chance, I park way the hell away from everyone else. I don't care about walking an extra 30 yards to save myself from a lifelong door ding.
The backing in/nosing in deal.... that all depends on the situation.

Ass end of the car is usually longer. If you drive till the wheels hit the curb (many do), the tail end might smack the building or block the walkway.

In front of a coffee shop or restaurant with outdoor seating, only douchebags back in
