Found mine two hours away. Local dealer didn’t want to deal. Went through our program at work and found a deal I could live with.

I'm from Vancouver Canada bought my 1st and 2nd gen used in Washington, when the exchange rate was reasonable. Bought my 3rd gen a mile away, went to 4 different yota dealers and bargain let them cut each others throat got it 3k less sticker price. On top of that I got Ridgid fog lights, oem roof rack, oem tanoue cover, oem bed mat,pro shift knob, TRD tip,led box lights all for free.I payed extra $263 US / $350 CDN for the pro grill and the install. Go it at yearend sale

Drove 101 miles to Albany, GA for my MT '19 TRD Pro.

Next nearest one available (that I could find) was in Denver, CO, a whopping 1486 miles. I had a ticket booked before the Albany dealership called to let me know they had found my truck.

I live in So Cal and bought mine from a dealer in Northern California since nobody had a black 2018 DCSB OR with the leather moon roof and JBL package. I was told I was looking for a unicorn. I hired a transport for $525 and it showed up at my front door.

These days MSRP is a worthless number. You should buy basing the purchase on Factory Invoice. You should still pay under Factory. If you pay what the dealer paid, they still make 2-3% depending on the make after the sale. Plus other incentives. If you base you purchase on MSRP, they're making a ton of money off of you.
