I am planning to take my Tacoma for a long drive soon. Around 1000 miles. How far have you driven your Tacoma?

    Here. While towing the trailer.

Anywhere between 1000 and 3500 in one trip.

958 miles in one pull. 15 or so hours. That's about my limit. I also did 48K in one year.

Thanks. I did the math. 84 days driving 60 mph for 8 hours a day. I was starting up a new plant. Old plant was 300 miles north of me, new plant was 280 miles south of me. I left a lot on Mondays and came back on a lot of Fridays. 2018 was the year. Long year. Not far enough to fly. At the limit of drive. I loved the Taco. Now I love my new Tundra.

That is a wild amount of seat time. I believe it that it was a long year haha. I’ve been averaging about 25k miles a year but I don’t use the truck to commute to work. This year might be closer to 30K though because I’ll be doing my first legit cross country trip in the fall.

Highly recommend the Alaska highway. Did it in 2003 in my 1992 Toyota with 120,000 Kms at the time, towing a 12' travel trailer! Not one issue. Vancouver, Whitehorse, Skagway Alaska and then back down Highway 37, the Stewart-Cassiar Scenic Route.

Two week trip and is was about 5400 miles. From Florida and through the following states Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee. Longest stops were in Utah 7 days and Colorado for 3 days. Had to bed full of camping gear and three bikes on the back on a rack. The truck did great!

My 2003 Crew Cab short bed V6 4x4 I put 412,000 on, 300,000 of that since I bought Memorial Day weekend 2014.

    She's seen (from Massachusetts)
    Youngstown Ohio numerous times
    Detroit, Michigan and surrounding area
    Baltimore Maryland- Camden Yards
Pittsburgh,PA for NCAA D1 hockey title

As for commuting, she was still giving it a go 3 weeks ago for my 4 hour one way commutes to Waterville Maine, and others to Portsmouth NH, Manchester NH, Boston, MA, Norwich, CT, Providence RI.

    Longest trip in 1 sitting
Massachusetts to Youngstown and back to Massachusetts in 30 hours, lot of Sheetz M-T-O

Loving my 2011 crew cab short bed V6 4x4 I just bought, she may see a trip to Arizona
