How lockable is a Camper Shell with the tailgate?

    Glass is glass , if they want in, there in. The best defense is lock it the best you can, and don’t advertise that you have expensive stuff inside, ie stickers. I learned the hard way, after replacing the back window of my cap, all the stickers came off. Cleaning all the broken glass sucks!

    Same concepts for securing your car or home apply here. If a thief is determined and equipped with either knowledge and tools (or strength and something for a brute force attack), they can get access. The idea is to put enough security impediments in the way to discourage the kid or druggie or idiot who is looking for an easy score, or to persuade the more serious thief to move on looking for an easier target.
