How many coolant sensors are on a 97 2RZFE?

    I'm wanting to replace the engine coolant temperature sensor on my 97 with the 2.4L (2RZFE) as preventative maintenance. I see a temperature sensor on the outlet radiator hose at the front of the engine. The manual shows this one plus another one at the back of the head. I only want to replace the one that "talks" to the computer. Can anyone enlighten me?
