I'm looking to buy a Tacoma and would like to know how many high mile trucks there are out there. I also would like to know how much you would pay for a 4x4 or per-runner truck with 150,000 miles on it and one with 200,000 miles on it.

I paid 4500 for my 95 with 160k on it. It now has 176k

Amount paid is mainly based on year, condition, maintenance and location.

I paid 8500 for my 2001 4x4 with 145k bout 10months ago. But i am in far NorCal so cars cost more around here especially tacomas.

    1996 extended cab 151000, 2WD 4cylinder auto paid $3500 off Craig's list 6 months ago.

Use your eyeballs, rust underneath frame damage, color of oil and tranny fluid maintenance records see what the average price on craigs list is for the year and model that you are looking for. Be patient in your search, cash is king don't be afraid to pay asking price if you find a nice one.

Paid $250 for my 96 2wd 4 cyl Xtracab Tacoma, but it hadn't run in several years when I got it. The previous owner thought he'd blown the head, (milky oil) but in truth, he'd popped a freeze plug when he decided to run water and no coolant in the truck during the winter. So at this point, I have 163k on the truck itself, and just hit 20k on the rebuild the day before yesterday. (did everything except for machine work.)
It is extremely rare to get one so cheap, so I would not use mine in finding a price average, but I figured to let you know that sometimes you can find a crazy good deal.

When I bought my 01 DC 4x4 w/ 3.4l it had 68K and a topper. Paid just under $18k. Traded my uncle for his 02 with only 98k on it, straight across.

My '96 2.7 4x4 has about 280k on it. I only paid $2k when it had 216k on it, but it was pretty beat and took a lot of work and investment to fix up. My previous truck was a '00 2.7 4x4 that I bought new for about $16k - it had 252k miles and still ran great when it got totaled.

My 98 had 113,000 on it, bought it for $7000. My 01 has 460,000 on it bought that one for $5000. Both of them are v6, manual, TRD. I've noticed that it depends upon condition and location for price. Here in CO, Tacoma's hold their value pretty well.

Yup, it had just been maintained and looked clean. Still on the original engine and tranny. Doesn't look a day past 150,000

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Just rolled over 100k miles today! :) Finally broke her in! I paid 13.5k for her with 74k but price will vary by region and other factors like the others stated.

If you're in the western half of the state that is a really good price, man.
