Im not even going to say it but about half a year ago I would have believed everything this guy was saying. Now that I've spent countless hours on TW instead of sleeping I can actually laugh at some of the crap this guy says and realize he really doesn't know his shit. Tell me what you guys spot thats odd/incorrect about this video.

    Lol. Enjoy. :)

"you will no longer not stand out in the mall parking lot..."

    What a derp...

I just ordered rims from them (lowest price believe it or not). The guy told me that 16x8 would be too large for my truck. I couldnt go 8" wide unless i got a 3" lift. I showed him the multiple users on here with the same truck and rim package and he said "Are you going to trust the internet or me? I've been working here for 13 years." To which i replied "just order the rims..."

Cutting the bolt with a side cutter was a bad idea right there throwing sparks all over the gas tank. They didnt mention an alignment. And he didnt torque the lug nuts. That kinda stuff doesnt fly in my shop.

Well, to start, it's a 4WP video... I watched it without sound at work but at least it's a suspension lift and not a spacer lift. I don't agree with all of the choices as far as aesthetics but not a terrible lift IMO. Could have gone with sliders instead of step bars but none of the mall parking lot curbs are that tall anyways :D

Ordered some rock star wheels! They say XD right on them. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.

Listening to nickelback while putting in the AAL

Loosened the lower control arm bolts that attach them to the frame.

Took the sway bar off and let it hand there by one ball joint.

Most of the things they took apart in the front end didn't need to come off to remove and install the coil overs. Unless they put in a diff drop, once again I could be wrong.

What a bunch of derps, I wouldn't let them pump my gas!

Agreed, that was quite the extensive tear down for a coil swap... Hell, we did mine in a garage on jack stands and never touched any of the A-arm bolts and left the skid plate on.

What are "performance" steps lol, add this extra weight that won't protect like a slider and call it "perfromance"

Click my Sig Pic for my build thread. Too many to list here.
Anyone else notice that it had chrome grille and bumper indicative of an off road but no off road suspension components, no TRD sticker and base wheels. WTF?

    Here's what I noticed:

    * He mentions the pro comps giving it a better ride feel. IMO they're the stiffest lift out there!

    * He mentions they're going to upgrade the Spring, what the rate?!?
    * "Murdered out", cmon man...
    * "Performance side steps" yeah those add what like 15HP each?
    * Lowers the sway bar gently and then lets it drop the last couple feet and hang there by the joint.
    * sparks against the fuel tank
    * and of course, "stand out in the mall parking lot" lol.

This would all sound so great to me If i didn't know a thing or two about lifts. Granted I still don't know much but after all my research Im fairly certain that this would appeal greatly to the average mall crawler. Thank you all for your time :D
