We can't have the Taco cost as much as an FJ now can we? :p

In the video, they took the TPMS sensors from the steel OEM wheels and mounted into in the XDs? I thought the steel and alloy wheels used different sensors due to different rim angles?

That is an SR5 and I would think that they would've been better off editing out some of those mistakes. I don't know enough about lifts to rip it apart, but sparks on the fuel tank is a red flag and dropping the sway bar would sit well with me.

The sparks arent gonna hurt the tank. If he was welding over the tank, then wet newspaper, or towels should be placed over it, but for basic cutting/grinding....that wouldnt hurt.

Wow, what a tool! I hated that place when I lived in San Diego. They had them, 4 Wheel Direct and Off Road Warehouse all within a mile of each other in El Cajon and 4 Wheel Parts was the worst. 4 wheel Direct wasn't much better either. They royally screwed up my truck one time and I vowed to never go back.

At least the guy in the video admitted the truck would be a great mall crawler and wasn't boasting massive off road claims. But yeah, who says "egress?

I'll give them some credit though, they didn't go with a spacer lift and talk about it being the best way to do it.

I much prefer this transformation, and much prefer to do business with the company that produced it. I've bought from Offroad Warehouse on many occasions, their customer service has been excellent, and their staff actually know Tacomas. Note the little details: Alignment, torquing bolts to spec, use of locktite on nuts, gentle use of impact tools. These are the things that make the difference:

Why are they wearing rubber gloves? Also that grille insert is retarded, when they show it installed from a short distance you can't even tell its there and still see the OEM grille behind it... AND its not murdered out or a "one off" truck, every dealer that mods a truck for their lot does those exact same mods, cheap lift, cheap grille, nerf bars, and always FUCKEN ROCKSTARS!! I HATE ROCKSTARS! Every bro on this planet has them on their truck...

I try to wear rubber gloves any time I work on an engine, or vehicle. Grease, oils, fuel, etc., can cause skin irratation. Also, the rubber glove protect against scrapes, sparks.

I see only one thing wrong....

    The video is from 4WP.

Everything else is normal and expected, therefore, not "wrong" ;)

Rubber gloves do NOT protect against the Derps.....as witnessed in the video. Clearly, 4WP employees are seen wearing the gloves. If the gloves reduced the Derps, they would know much more about our vehicles, and work for a different company.

The only time you should wear no gloves is when working with moving machinery (lathe, drill press, etc.). Better to nick a finger than to have the glove caught and rip off a finger...

I understand this also, I was pointing out the fact they were wearing rubber gloves rather than mechanics gloves because they weren't dealing with any oils or grease etc...
