Thanks for the heads up. I put a deposit down on it and It should be here this week so i will be fighting if they try arguing with me. I told the sales rep multiple times i dont want them so time will tell.

If you fight you are playing their game. While I'll negotiate with a dealer in good faith, I won't play games.

You should have an order sheet if you put a deposit down on it. If the truck doesn't match the order sheet, you tell them what needs to happen to make it match. If they balk, calmly tell them to call you when the truck is ready, get up, and calmly walk out.

This is also why I *ALWAY* negotiate on a "drive out" basis. Limits the opportunity for surprises. The bottom line number matches what we agreed on or it doesn't.

Getting something you "Ordered" that fast is amazing, mine is 2 to 5 Months, absolutely have them removed if they were not on the Order you placed!

You are probably right, I got fixated on that Order word and it didn't even cross my mind that they were doing a Dealer Trade.

No discount from my dealer, they say they will but i paid about 4k less from a different dealer which is sad. My rate was 2.74 which is not terrible we'll see if i keep the truck longer then 2 years anyways.

Well I ordered my truck in mid December and it's apparently being built this week. Should be ready for pickup in two weeks.

Haha good thinking. I picked up various small things but pro grille and TRD rims are definitely going on in the spring.

    Hello Everyone,

Been a lurker here for awhile and I appreciate all the knowledge being shared by everyone in the forum. That said, I was wondering if anyone have any dealer/salesperson recommendations in San Francisco?

@kirros40 I'm looking to buy the same exact model. Would you mind sharing me via private message the dealerships in San Francisco that gave you the 37k quote? Thank you in advance!

    Hank M.

    ToyoGuard Platinum
    Nitro in Tires

    MSRP $38,136.95
Doc Fee $649 not included in MSRP
    $38,136.95+$649 =$38,785.95

    $35,000 OTD before tax/license/title.
    $38,785.95 - $35,000= $3785.95 Discount
    $3,785.95/$38,785.95 = 9.7% Discount

The $35,000 price does include the dealer doc fee.
I could not pass up this deal but I had to go out of state to get it!

Dealer was Palmer Toyota in Mobile AL. They were eager/willing to negotiate!
Call Ann Phoutphong at 1-251-639-0800. She was wonderful to deal with.

This site has been very helpful in helping me craft what I believe is a good deal. Hopefully this info will help you.

$35000. I have to pay taxes, title and license in Arkansas.

BTW I did negotiate the deal in December. Put down a deposit and picked it up on 5 Jan.

The interior is the same except for the seat colors, which a lot of people are covering up anyway on every model. What exactly do you think is different on the interior between an sr5 and a sport?

That's a huge wall of text comparing the wrong model. SR is different than sr5.

The main difference between the sr5 and sport are.
Headlights (sr5 used the parking lights as DRL rather than the LED), fog lights(sr5 is not wide angle), hood scoop, bed power outlet, wheels, push to start. There is a slight difference in the tech package since you can't get bsm in the sr5... You can get the upgraded stereo and parking sensors.

My bad, didn't realize the SR/sr5 difference on yotas specs in the brochure. So be it.
