Thanks for taking the time to post this. I’m interested in how yours shakes out. The best I’ve done so far is about $500 more than your lowest — and that was on a sport (which on the Toyota website shows as a lesser MSRP).

I think you should re-address the issue with your dealership of not taking the Military rebate. I checked the Toyota website and it states "any new Toyota" and does not mention excluding TRD... are you sure this was not the dealership website?

    https://www.toyotafinancial.com/pub/w/planning_center/financing_options/buy/military_rebate

If they are trying to add more options to the TRD Pro that you ordered, it wouldn't surprise me if they try to credit the Military rebate for them self. I've also seen several post from other TRD Pro owners on this forum who used the Military rebate on their purchase, in the other post of how much people are paying for their 2018.

You can still remove and add option before the vehicle arrives at the port. Just do what I said in the other post and call your salesman and tell them to check the pipeline to see if you vehicle arrived at port (F-Status) or not. If it hasn't they could modify the order and removed the options. If they say they can't do it, they probably want to make extra money off of you, so tell them you won't pay for it.

Thanks for the information. Ounce I get back stateside, I will call Toyota directly for confirmation on this. On a side note, I did get an email back from my salesman. He apologized for the issue and informed me this has happened before. He also noted that they are willing to swap out the chrome tube steps with another option (black) or deduct the cost of the add on all together. Also informed me that they would pay for front window tint at no charge (something I inquired about previously). Still a little suspicious, but I informed them I would decide until I come into the dealership. Will update status in March when I return...

that's a score! is this with or without premium package? if it's with then you killed it. if it's without then you still got a great deal...i personally couldn't find any cement trd or dclb that wasn't on the east coast, 2500+ miles away!

I just got my 2018 TRD Off-Road DCLB in Cement about one month ago. It came with the floormats/door sill protectors and the basic technology package, and then they installed mudguards that weren't listed on the info sheet so they discounted those, but I got it for $38,800 after talking them down about $1,200 from MSRP, and that's up here in Fairbanks, AK, where there's only one Toyota dealership for hundreds of miles and extra costs for getting the vehicles here.

Been watching this thread for a while, doing a little research. I started flipping through all the post's but it's like finding a needle in a haystack. What's the best deal on a 18 OR DCSB with tech no premium? Before ttl. $33,500?

No, I could not be that lucky. TTT is not included in these price quotes. I left TTT out of the figures because I wanted to have equal comparison between dealers. Since I got bids from dealers outside Oklahoma TTT was easier to leave out. I updated my prior post.

Still waiting on an expected delivery date.

These prices being all over the place reminds me of my hunt for my TDI VW Jetta. I negotiated a deal with a dealer in Atlanta GA that included a one way plane ticket. Salesman picked me up at the airport in my new Jetta, drove back to the dealer to drop him off and that was it. Drove back home to Oklahoma that same day. It was a long day.

I say this because you California guys could fly into the Midwest and buy a new Tacoma and drive home cheaper then buying local. Yes it would be a long weekend but saving $4 to $5K might be worth it.

Good luck to everyone on the hunt for there perfect Tacoma, it is out there waiting for you to find it.

Recently picked up my 2018 DCSB TRD Sport, Cement Gray. It came with $1193 of dealer add ons (all of which I was okay with... predator steps etc) for a sticker of $36188 + $1545 taxes, title & fees for a total of $37,733. I also insisted they add a "smart mirror" to allow for grange door and home automation programming (can't believe that's not standard on all of the TRD models) which they did at no cost. Paid $35,000 OTD.

It took a good deal of haggling and me almost walking after about 4 hours with the salesman and manager.

That is a great price, is that with Tech and Premium packages?

I backed out his numbers and it looks like his truck has tech and RWD. The deal he got was just about invoice plus ttl. So pretty good.

Tech and most of the goodies. And yes, it is 2WD not 4x4.

I was quoted $34,319, for a cement TRD sport, with Tech package, and all weather mats, including "freight" but not including taxes, tags, and fees. This is in Washington DC/Northern Virginia. Internet manager told me MSRP is $37,388. Sounds like a good starting point, as it is about a 2.5 hour drive for me. What do you guys think?

I know this is not completely accurate as it does not include dealer hold back, incentives or what each individual dealers "dock fee of deliver fee" but I used this to gauge as a target when negotiating.
