if you can repeat the same stupid comment twice asking for an ass shot of my fiance, i think it's justified for me to call you out on it.

...But really it's ok princess, you'll be fine.

Right so back to my truck bed shaking .... i'll get some Torx bits big enough to try and tighten it down and see if that helps, but it sounds like the movement might be normal.

thanks for the input, i'll post back if tightening the bed bolts helped any.

The beds don't have any bushings at the mounting points. There was a thread a few months ago that indicates that the vibrations of the bed may, over time, cause the bottom of the mount to break, which causes the bed to move around.

I'll see if I can dig it up when I get my laptop out tomorrow.

I noticed mine moved a decent amount before I mounted the canopy. I don't think it moves any more, just more noticeable with the canopy. After reading the information about putting a UMHW shim between the bolts I decided to order some try out.

Amazon has the 1/16 UMHW sheet for pretty darn cheap and if you're a prime member shipping is free. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0070Z9X5Q/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm thinking if I take the bolts out on one side and loosen the others I should be able to raise the bed just enough to slip the shims in using a floor jack.
