How much is a 1990 Toyota LiteAce worth?

Does anyone have any experience with LiteAce vans? Someone in my area is selling one on craigslist. I find the van interesting, but seems to be priced fairly high. Just wondering if anyone has bought, sold, looked at, or known someone that owns one of these.

In case the ad is taken down, it is a 1990 LiteAce GXL from Japan. Right hand drive, 4wd, 5 speed manual, 4-cylinder gasoline, fairly low miles (115,000 miles). It apparently has new tires, and everything works, including the A/C which was converted to R134A.

 

Japanese people must think us Americans are really fuckin weird for buying their old minivans for such crazy high prices.

 

Checked some Japanese auctions and Lite aces are going for about $1500 and Hi aces are about $4k. Takes about another 2-3k to ship/transport customs taxes.
